So I guess this is where I say a little about me and what I’m hoping to “accomplish” here. My name is John. I live in Upstate New York with my beautiful wife and 2 great kids. When I’m not busy doing what I need to do in order to make a living, I try to work on the things I love to do in order make a life. I’m a writer, an amateur photographer, a lover of good cigars, fine scotch, and great conversation. Other than these vices, I have fairly simple tastes. I am, sometimes to my dismay, far more interested in the “why’s” of life than just about anything else. This obsessive need for such understanding is often tiresome, and sometimes exciting. But hopefully, as I share my ramblings and my work with you, it will also be interesting. I guess we’re about to find out!
